Bad News For Bleeding Folk

[The blood supply for New York City and its surrounding counties is in a state of emergency low levels.] The New York Blood Center says it only has enough of some types to get through the next two days and is asking people to donate. The New York-New Jersey metro area needs almost two thousand volunteer donations a day to aid patients in the local hospitals. So if you like OJ and biscuits, why not donate some blood? If humane isn’t your style, at least you’ll get a free treat.
