BEAUTIFYING CONSTRUCTION SITES

    By Dan Rivoli One of the four winners the city picked for a construction site beautification project has had her work displayed at the Hunter College School of Social Work"s new East Harlem home. â??My Urban Sky, by Massachusetts-based graphic artist Jen Magathan, will cover a 92-foot construction fence and a 91-foot sidewalk shed with pictures of a bright blue sky and clouds. The college, currently on East 79th Street and Lexington Avenue, is constructing its new home on Third Avenue between East 118th and 119th streets. As part of the pilot program, property owners can choose one of the four designs to cover scaffolding, sidewalk sheds and other pieces of building material.
