Expensive books and computers have no place at a club. One man, who was apparently studying law, made that discovery last Thursday, April 11th, as he reported to police that his bag was stolen from a Tribeca bar. The 25-year-old man told police he was having drinks with friends at the bar when he set his bag down on the end of a table. He said the bar was dark and crowded around 7 p.m., when he decided to leave and realized his bag was gone. The bag contained a Macbook Pro Laptop, several books on criminal law and a briefcase. The total value of the computer and the books was around $1,900.
