CLUMSY STREET ROBBER

A thief who snatched a cell phone from a woman walking on Madison Avenue near East 70th Street accidentally revealed his identity as he fled the scene of the crime. Police said that on Nov. 4 at 11 p.m., a witness to the theft chased the 32-year-old Bronx man east on East 70th Street. As the perp was being pursued, he dropped an envelope that contained his ID. He is wanted by police for robbery.
