Exercise in LarcenyA shoplifter trimmed some inventory from an athletic clothing chain. At 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, November 12, a man entered the Lululemon store at 1928 Broadway and made off with $1,800 worth of clothing, police said.
Face CrimeAnd another shoplifter decided to provide a little cosmetic relief. At 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, a man went into the CVS store at 200 West End Avenue and stole $1,500 worth of makeup products, according to a police report.
Gym RobberyA young fitness enthusiast discovered the hard way that laptops and gym lockers are a bad combination. At 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, a 22-year-old man returned to his locker in the NYSC location at 61 West 62nd Street and discovered that someone had removed his backpack from his locker, containing a MacBook Pro valued at $1,700, he told police.
21 SkidooAt 9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 8, two young men, ages 20 and 28, entered the Century 21 store at 1972 Broadway and stole clothing valued at $2,000. Police arrested the pernicious pair, however, and charged them with grand larceny, police said.
