No Dodging Street ThievesA thief managed to get out of Dodge a motorist’s belongings. At noon on Sept. 17, a 27-year-old man returned to his 2006 Dodge, which he had parked outside 49 West 73rd St. He discovered that someone had smashed one of the car doors and removed his wallet and credit cards from inside the vehicle. The total stolen amounted to $100.

A Plot UnfoldsAt 11 p.m. on Sept. 4, a 31-year-old man returned to his car parked outside 18 West 83rd St. to discover that his folding bike had been taken from inside his vehicle. The folding bike was valued at $2,000.

Jacked JacketNow that it’s jacket season again, thieves also consider it open season on jackets. At 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 9, personnel at the Intermix store at 210 Columbus Ave., discovered that someone had made off with a jacket valued at $1,295.

Drug StealersYou know summer is over when thieves are back to stealing drugs, not ice cream, from Duane Reade stores. At 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 7, two men entered the Duane Reade location at 2025 Broadway and made off with $1,300 worth of over-the-counter medications, including FLONASE.

Boulevard of SchemesThieves don’t snatch bikes just from New York citizens; they grab the city’s own bikes as well. At 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 17, a Citi Bike was stolen from its parking location at 67th Street and Riverside Boulevard. The rental bike was valued at $1,200.
