No Ride on RiversideOne hopes that an unfortunate motorcyclist wasn’t too fond of his Honda, because it was grabbed by thieves. At 10:00 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, a 46-year-old man parked his motorcycle outside 200 Riverside Boulevard. Sometime later, a Dodge Caravan was seen driving up, and the motorcycle was loaded into the van. The stolen bike was valued at $4,000.

Latter Day TaintAt 8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 8, a 28-year-old woman laid her purse down in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 125 Columbus Avenue. An unknown woman was seen removing the victim’s wallet from the purse. The wallet contained credit cards and $170 cash.

Basket of SephorablesA cosmetics store will have to make up their balance sheets for make-up stolen recently. At 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 9, someone stole $1,200 in merchandise from the Sephora store at 2164 Broadway.

Bye PhoneWhat feature beside the high price makes iPhones so valuable to thieves? At 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, a man entered the AT&T store at 2066 Broadway and stole two iPhones totaling $1,500.

The CruX of the MatterThe winter weather apparently hasn’t deterred bicycle riders – or bicycle thieves. At 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4, a 50-year-old man parked his bicycle outside 334 Amsterdam Ave. When he returned later, his two-wheeler was nowhere to be found. The missing ride was a Specialized CruX valued at $3,000.
