Jamis JamAt 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, a 25-year-old man locked his bike outside 334 Amsterdam Ave. When he returned at 4:30 p.m., his bike was gone. It was a Jamis valued at $2,100.
Shoplifter ArrestedA 57-year-old woman was arrested on grand larceny charges after she took nearly $2,000 worth of merchandize from the Century 21 store at 1972 Broadway on Oct. 6, police said.
Cupped CrusaderAt 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, a woman entered the Victoria’s Secret store at 2333 Broadway and made off with $5,200 worth of bras. The presumably uplifted shoplifter is still at large.
Fitted to Be TiedSometime between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 2, a 29-year-old woman discovered that someone had taken her property from a fitting room in that same Century 21 store at 1972 Broadway. The property removed included a Samsung laptop, jewelry, and cash with a total value of $1,500.
Film FlamA bag on the floor is a bag out the door, even at the multiplex! At 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, a 48-year-old woman had been viewing a movie at the Loews Theater at 1998 Broadway when she discovered that the bag she had laid by her feet was now missing. It contained credit cards and an iPhone valued at $800.
