More Moto MayhemAt noon on June 2, a man parked his red Yamaha bike at West 59th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. When he returned afterwards, his machine was missing. The motorbike was valued at $5,200.
In another incident, a 42-year-old man parked his 2013 KTM outside 160 West 85th St. at 10 p.m. on June 27. When he came back after sometime, his bike was gone as well. It was a 2013 KTM, valued at $12,000.
DepossessionAt noon on Tuesday, June 21, a 53-year-old man parked his car outside 151 West 81st St. When he revisited the vehicle, he found that someone had broken into the car and made off with $2,175 of his belongings.
Grabbed and NabbedPolice nabbed a robber who had grabbed a Citi Bike. At 2:25 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, a 57-year-old man made off with a Citi Bike that was parked at West 85th Street and Central Park West. He was later arrested and charged with grand larceny.
Jeep CreepA thief declared war on a man’s Jeep. At 10:30 p.m. on June 27, a 45-year-old man parked his 2009 Jeep outside 250 West 82nd St. When he returned sometime later, he discovered that one of the vehicle’s windows had been smashed and his credit cards stolen.
