Education: Mission Accomplished!
If a [recent New York Times charticle ](/blogx/admin/How%20did%20you%20come%20up%20with%20the%20format%20for%20your%20books%20--%20that%20is,%20the%20use) illustrating where presidential hopefuls stand on "the issues," is any indication, all the concerned parents, teachers, students and employers in our nation can finally go back to watching "America's Next Top Model" and breathe easy again. Though "health care," "abortion," "climate change," "immigration," "Iraq," "Iran," and the "economy" were pressing enough to merit public scrutiny, education, was not. Education, as a topic worthy of debate, it turned out, was yet another smokescreen propagated, most likely, by the liberal intelligentsia, the War on Christmas, and Tim Robbins acting in consort with activist judges. No wonder.
