By [Dan Rivoli] The highly anticipated Fairway Market held a â??ground-breaking ceremony Wednesday, Oct. 6, on the site of its new Upper East Side location. Howie Glickberg and Charles Santoro, the CEO and chairman of Fairway Market, joined Borough President Scott Stringer and the city"s Small Business commissioner Rob Walsh outside of the 240 E. 86th St. building, between Second and Third avenues, at the ceremony. Fairway will be hocking their organic and specialty food in a two-level, 45,000-square-foot space.
