Fall Festivals Arrive on UWS

the brisk weather sweeping through manhattan is bringing along the first fall festivals of the season.

the 19th annual broadway fall festival will take place 11 a.m.-6 p.m. between 86th and 96th streets on broadway, and will contain live music on the main stage at 96th street, featuring the michael grey quartet. there will also be crafts and entertainments as well as asian food.

one week later, oct. 16, the 18th annual upper broadway festival will take place from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. between 110th and 116th streets on broadway. the event will have arts and crafts as well as clothing vendors.
