Gum Grabber Gets Nabbed

A man was arrested May 28 for stealing 17 packs of gum from the CVS at 1241 Lexington Ave. and East 84th Street. Police said that at 9:18 a.m., Dondi Jackson, 54, grabbed $67 worth of gum. The store manager noticed the theft and tried to stop him. The suspect, however, kneed the manager in the groin. Jackson was later arrested and charged with robbery.
