more than 350 families came to investigate summer camp options first hand at the new york family camp fair series, held saturday and sunday, jan. 24 and 25.
guests had the opportunity to visit with representatives from 60-plus camps on both days, and they also got a chance to receive some expert advice on how to select a camp from renee flax, director of program services for the american camp association of new york. the fairs took place on the upper east side, at st. jean baptiste on east 75th street, and on the upper west side, at rodeph sholom on west 83rd street.
