According to City Comptroller William Thompson Jr., the city’s public high schools are neglecting to report [serious incidents of violence] (you got your rapes and stabbings) and otherwise disruptive behavior (somewhat more creative forms of assault). You know what that means: The following statistic may not be accurate, depending on whether the schools accurately reported whether or not they accurately reported these incidents. Nevertheless, almost 21 percent of such episodes were not revealed during the 2004-05 school year. But there is some good news for the city’s students – the gobs of money spent on various counterterrorism techniques should kill [two sets of bullies](http://www.nysun.com/article/63028) with one stone.
