a burglar swiped jewels out of an upper west side woman's apartment sometime between april 29 and may 1. police said the 21-year-old victim, who lives on west 68th street between amsterdam avenue and broadway, left her apartment on april 29 and returned home on may 1 to find that her jewelry was missing. there were no signs of forcible entry. police said the burglar swiped two diamond rings, two bracelets and a pearl necklace, totaling $6,500.
