LAPPIN CONSIDERING CITYWIDE RACE

Jessica Lappin, a first-term Council member, is considering a run in the crowded primary for public advocate. There are four declared Democratic candidates and one other fence-sitter: former Council member and immigrant affairs commissioner Guillermo Linares. Currently, there is a lone Republican candidate, Alex Zablocki, a staffer to Staten Island State Sen. Andrew Lanza.
