The Metropolitan Museum of Art this week launched its opening season of The Met Breuer, its new modern-art space in the building that formerly housed the Whitney Museum.
Met CEO Thomas Campbell said at a press opening that the Breuer building “represents an important chapter in the cultural life of New York City.”
Beginning March 21, the Breuer, at Madison Avenue and 75th Street, will be opened everyday, except Monday, at 10 a.m.
