The Carter Burden Center for the Aging’s Luncheon Club held its annual fashion show on October 15.
Emceed by William Dionne, the Carter Burden Center’s executive director, the senior models wore their own formal wear and hand-knit fashions. Professional hair and make-up were provided by volunteers.
The Carter Burden Center’s Luncheon Club provides hot meals, served restaurant-style, to hundreds of older people daily. The Club serves as a community beacon for seniors to gather, socialize and enjoy educational and recreational programs.
