The Leopard at des Artistes — 1 West 67th StreetThe most immediately striking aspect of this stunning restaurant are the murals that adorn its walls and harken back to the early twentieth century. The original Cafe des Artistes closed in 2009, and husband-and-wife team restaurateurs Gianfranco Sorrentino and Paula Bolla-Sorrentino opened The Leopard in its space a little under three years later. The restaurant serves only the freshest ingredients. With Chef Vitto Gnazzo’s traditional Italian cooking skills, the menu is influenced by southern Italian traditions dating back hundreds of years.
