Madison Purse snatch

A woman's bag was snatched on Madison Avenue. At 6:28 PM on Wednesday, September 4, a woman was walking down Madison Avenue when an unknown person came up to her, grabbed her bag, and fled on East 70th Street before heading northbound on Park Avenue. Police searched the area but could not find the bag burglar. No cameras captured the incident. Items stolen included accessories from Christian Dior valued at $2,500 and Chanel priced at $1,000, plus assorted credit cards, a book of prayers, and the woman's Alabama driver's license.
