Man Plunges to Death at UES Starbucks

By [Reid Spagna] A man fell to his death early on the evening of July 25, landing inside the patio of the Starbucks at East 85th Street and First Avenue. Todd Crockett, 38, plunged from his apartment on the 17th floor of Adam"s Tower, a residential building on 351 E. 84th St. that overlooks the Starbucks, after 6:20 p.m., according to police. He landed on the outdoor seating at the coffee chain. A police spokesperson said that no evidence of criminality has been discovered, but that the event is currently under investigation.
