MAN WANTED FOR ROBBERIES

Police are asking for assistance in identifying a man they say was involved in four separate robberies. In each of the robberies, which occurred in commercial establishments, the suspect entered with a silver firearm wrapped in a towel and demanded money. The robberies occurred on Oct. 12 at 1698 Second Ave. and East 88th Street; Oct. 30 at 1576 First Ave. and East 82nd Street; Oct. 31 at 1307 Madison Ave. near East 93rd Street; and Nov. 14 at 1624 Second Ave. and East 84th Street. Cops said the suspect was last seen in a green hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. Anyone with information can call the NYPD tip line at 1-800-577-TIPS.
