Match.com Makes You America's Next Top Model

Match.com wants to help you—or someone who kinda sorta resembles you—get laid. With the help of New York-based Hanft Unlimited, [Match.com has a new ad campaign] called “It’s OK To Look.” Not sure what sexual reference they’re trying to make exactly, but kudos for at least attempting to hop off the fuddy-duddy boat. Jay Manuel, of America’s Next Top Model infamy, will be offering style advice about makeup, hair and clothing to members via Match’s new Portrait Toolkit. I guess they finally realized Dr. Phil wasn’t doing all for their image that they’d hoped, but I can’t say Jay Manuel will do much better. So now in addition to all the typical fears online dating arouses, you can now further obsess over the authenticity of those oh-so dubious profile photos. But on the bright side, everybody can be a star.
