MOCK GUN ROBBERY

    A man was robbed at fake gunpoint on Oct. 26 while walking home from dinner. The victim told police that at 9:30 p.m. that night, he was walking on Columbus Avenue between West 62nd and 61st streets when a robber ran up behind him, pushed him against a fence and simulated a gun with his finger. The assailant told the victim to hand over his iPhone and cash. Police said that after receiving the phone and $67, the thief ran south on Columbus and made a right on West 60th Street.
