    an upper west side man was bilked out of $1,700 after a modeling shoot. the 29-year-old man, who lives on west 81st street between amsterdam and columbus avenues, told police on march 12 that "ffany company" asked him to send a $1,400 money order for "cosmetic fees." the company, based at 1414 sixth ave. and west 58th street, had repeatedly postponed the shoot until the victim's money order was cashed. the model completed the shoot, but police said his check for $1,700 bounced when deposited.
