MOURNING THE WICKED WOLF

| 02 Mar 2015 | 04:26

to the editor: i've seen and mourned the passing of agata and valentina's café and especially café 79, but the closing of our beloved wicked wolf was terrible news to me (dewing things better, jan. 22).

we live just down the block and we've been going to wicked wolf for so long we remember when they were on second avenue. the perfect neighborhood meeting place, a drink, a quick bite or a full meal-wicked wolf knew what we needed and delivered the goods locally. plus, they served until 1 a.m. or later, a lifesaver for our eccentric schedules.

the second avenue deli is good but no substitute, and we'll have a little less of what we need in our neighborhood unless another vitamin outlet does the trick for you.
