On Thursday, May 16, an 80-year-old woman living on West End Avenue hired a moving company she had employed on two previous occasions, to move items from her apartment to the basement of her building. The next morning, she noticed that items were missing. Her jacked jewelry included a Movado women's gold watch valued at $4,300, an oval white gold ring with diamonds valued at $3,000, and a priceless heirloom diamond-and-emerald ring.
