NYC's Water: So Nice, They Gave It A Price
| 11 Nov 2014 | 01:27
If youre dining out today, dont be surprised if you get charged [$1 for a glass of tap water]. Flippin' gentrification! Well, not really. The price tag is in celebration of [World Water Day](http://www.worldwaterday.org/) and UNICEFs [Tap Project](http://www.tapproject.org/restaurants). But, dont I usually get my H20 for free? you ask. Yeah, you do, but not everyone is as lucky with the easy access to NYCs refreshing tap water. You cant even buy a pack of gum for a buck nowadays, but $1 could go a long way towards helping UNICEF provide clean drinking water to 1.1 billion people around the world.
