Our Town Art

By [Dan Rivoli] Stephen Green, a painter and gallery operator [Our Town](http://nypress.com/2010/03/24/the-art-of-language/)[ profiled last March](http://nypress.com/2010/03/24/the-art-of-language/), sent us a new painting that features this Upper East Side community paper. Green, a 28-year-old Upper East Side native, included the blue Our Town newspaper boxes stationed throughout the neighborhood in his painting "Pitchers Painting Corners." His paintings portray idioms literally. A piece entitled "Running Red Lights 2" depicts two red light bulbs running across Fifth Avenue.
