Pen Store Burglarized

Madison Signatures, at 743 Madison Ave. and East 65th Street, was burglarized March 2. Police said that an employee told them that he had securely closed the store. But when he returned the next day, the front entry side glass window was broken and the front door was unlocked. The burglar stole $175 in cash and seven Italian pens valued at $1,750, according to cops.
