PHONY LOTTO SCHEME

A man walked off with $2,000 in cash after turning in a fake lottery ticket on Oct. 15 to a bodega at 1179 Lexington Ave., between 80th and 81st streets. Police said that the 62-year-old store owner learned that the â??winning ticket was a phony after he went downtown to cash it in.
