Police Searching for Accused Boyfriend

A 24-year-old Patchogue, N.Y., man is wanted after assaulting his girlfriend March 3. Police said that after celebrating the woman"s birthday, the man and his girlfriend returned to her East 81st Street apartment and started arguing about someone calling her cell phone. The 21-year-old Upper East Side woman accused her boyfriend of hitting her and breaking things around the apartment. She had a black eye and injuries to her arms and legs, police said.
