Pressed for Time: Proud and Bothered

May 5, Center for Performance Research, 361 Manhattan Ave. (at Jackson St.), Brooklyn, 718-349- 1210; 8, $10.

The life of a Gay Pride Parade marshal is a sordid, somewhat scofflaw sexcapade, at least in this loosely autobiographical one-woman show by Marga Gomez. Part of the Queer Conscience Festival, Proud and Bothered is in town for one night before it moves to San Francisco, where it’ll be a hit because they love that gay theater out there.

Bottom Line: If you haven’t started training for the June 27 New York parade, this is a good place to start.
