Pressed for Time: Tribeca Film Festival

| 13 Aug 2014 | 04:20

Opens April 21, various locations, tribecafilm.com.

Now in its ninth year, the Tribeca Film Festival has grown into quite the behemoth, featuring huge film premieres (the new Shrek schlock), a short films program, conversations with directors and all sorts of other film fun. We’re most excited for the local filmmakers like Keith Bearden and Dana Adam Shapiro, but also for the chance to find out about new things to love... or loathe.

Bottom Line: We’ll be covering the ins and outs of the festival every day at nypress.com, so sit close and don’t be afraid to reach into our popcorn box, folks.
