RE/Mixed Media Festival 2010

Generally, I’m opposed to the tired old RE/fill-in-the-blank formula, but for tonight’s festival of remixed art, I’ll make an exception. After all, Moby will be there as well as Elizabeth Stark, she of the free culture movement. The concept isn’t new but it is endlessly fascinating. Reduce, reuse, rejigger, recycle. It goes from 2 until midnight, which is 10 hours of pure chaos. Bottom Line: Mash-ups, remixes, mash mixes, monster mash, Moby, Stark—freedom, thy name is Re/Mixed.
