Robbery and Assault in Apartment Lobby

A woman was robbed in the lobby of her building on West 84th Street, between Riverside Drive and West End Avenue. On April 27 at 4:53 p.m., the 27-year-old woman was in her building entryway when a man pushed past her. He pulled out a knife and told her to give him everything she had. She handed the man her wallet, cell phone and iPod. He only took the $40 from her wallet and the iPod. Before fleeing, he forced the woman to kiss him and he forcibly touched her groin area. The 17-year-old attacker was arrested the next day and charged with robbery.
