Running for the Republican Nomination for the U.S. Senate

Russ Smith has been waylaid by discussions with Gov. George Pataki and Rep. Rick Lazio as to whether to make a run for the U.S. Senate. Smith says Mayor Giuliani's will-I-or-won't-I game with the media, and his family, will have no bearing on his decision. Stay tuned.
