Reshma Saujani has agreed to go on Daily News columnist Errol Louis' radio show to debate Rep. Carolyn Maloney.Saujani had demanded that Maloney agree to debate. Baruch College on the East Side tried to get the two candidates to share a stage. Saujani's campaign[ criticized the decision] to hold the debate on Louis' show because it would be during work hours on Tuesday, Sept. 7. (Maloney's campaign called Louis a "highly respected and prominent journalist" and that there is "no better venue" to discuss the issues than his radio show.) "We will workˆ to ensure that everyone has access to the debate, even if they can't listen live," said James Allen, Saujani's spokesperson. He also called on Maloney to accept other offers to debate in public. "After 18 years in office, the least Congresswoman Maloney can do is participate in a number of public debates to explain her record on critical issues. ˆ New Yorkers deserve no less," Allen said in a statement. Meanwhile, Saujani will be holding town-hall style "[Community Conversations](http://www.reshma2010.com/pages/community_conversations)," her campaign announced. Her Upper East Side stop will be Wednesday Aug. 25 at the 92nd Street Y at 7:30 p.m.
