    Women’s Wrestling The team Artemis Women’s Wrestling Club is a perfect place to learn grappling in a safe female friendly environment. Not only is it a sport that increases stamina and strength, it is also the ideal place to learn some awesome moves to enforce on the big brother/sister that always picked on you. Payback’s a bitch.     Bike Polo When one thinks of polo, images of upper-class English social events and big hats come to mind. But, bike polo is the antithesis. The urban version played by bike enthusiasts and messengers is an intense scrimmage on any concrete or asphalt surface available. Teams of three battle it out on two wheels with makeshift polo mallets. The intense match lasts about 15 minutes, and then a new one begins. Bumps and bruises are to be anticipated. Games held weekly Sundays at 12.

    Boxing Have you seen all one thousand Rocky movies and want to be the inspiration for Rocky MI? Well then it’s time to get in the ring and give’em the old 1,2.     Ultimate Frisbee If you dislike sports that involve objects of a spherical nature, this may be your preferred pastime since it’s only a round disc. Ultimate Frisbee is a bit like soccer, but with a Frisbee—which somehow makes it better. The events take place weekly and anyone can play. It’s assured to be ultimate fun.     Rock Climbing For non-conventional athletes, there’s nothing more invigorating than scaling a wall. The City Climbers Club owns one of the oldest rock climbing gyms in the city and is perfect for skilled as well as novice climbers. Don’t have climbing gear? No problem.     Kayaking on the Hudson More than just trash and dead bodies can float in the Hudson; you can too. The New York City Downtown Boat House offers 20-minute kayak excursions as well as three-hour trips down the river. Both events are offered on the weekends.     DODGEBALL Remember dodgeball? If you’re a girl, you might remember the horror of the moment your gym teacher announced it was dodgeball day and the dread of the next 50 minutes spent running from the ball-hog boys pelting you with those damn rubber balls. Well, times have changed, but dodgeball is still around.
