Teen Arrested for Stealing Soda

A 17-year-old male was arrested Oct. 24 after he was accused of stealing a can of soda from a cart on the northeast corner of Broadway and West 60th Street. Police said at 4:30 a.m., the owner of the food cart, a 30-year-old Brooklyn man, came out onto the sidewalk to get the soda back. Another teenager who was with the soda-drinking teen punched the vendor in the face. Both teens fled.
