Tramel Bates, 19, was arrested after robbing a 12-year-old boy. Police said that April 15 at 4:30 p.m., the 12-year-old was waiting for the elevator in the lobby of his building, the Stanley Isaacs Houses, at 1806 First Ave. Several people entered the lobby and Bates allegedly pushed the boy and tackled him to the ground. Bates took $50 from the 12-year-old"s pocket and fled, according to cops. Police picked up Bates on the fifth floor of 405 E. 92nd St. and charged him with robbery.
