THIRD AVE.: DANGEROUS STREET

The Upper East Side now holds the odious title of being home to one of New York"s most dangerous streets, according to watchdog group Tri-State Transportation Campaign. Third Avenue and Broadway have both supplanted Queens Boulevard's often called the Boulevard of Death's as the city streets with the most traffic fatalities. From 2005-2007, 10 pedestrians were killed in car accidents on both roadways.
