All day long, people coming into Ali Abdullah's Coney Island bodega loitered by the magazine rack, reading National Review but never buying anything. 

About 8:30 Tuesday morning, another one comes in, picks up the paper and just starts reading it.

According to police sources, Abdullah allegedly told the man, "Buy the fucking newspaper or get the fuck out of the store." 

When the man refused to cough up the quarter, Abdullah grabbed the aluminum bat from behind the counter and beat the crap out of him with it. Abdullah, needless to say, is now facing assault charges, but we can't help but think he has no regrets.
