THREE-TIME BURGLAR

Police are looking for an older man accused of breaking into three apartments and stealing jewelry and other items. Witnesses described the same 60- to 65-year-old man entering the building, 215 E. 82nd St., the day the victims reported missing property. Two robberies occurred on Sept. 2 and one on Sept. 9. Cops said the man was last seen wearing a tweed cap, glasses, a long-sleeve white shirt, a dark sleeveless vest and dark pants. Police are asking those with knowledge of his whereabouts to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
