Forget Spidey and Captain Jack, the summer of sequels has just hit an all-time low. This morning, [Variety ][confirmed rumors] that Wild Hogs director Walt Becker is working on a sequel, cleverly called Wild Hogs 2. The “comedy” will again feature the Unfantastic Four of Martin Lawrence, John Travolta, Tim Allen and William H. Macy. Rumors of a sequel began after the original achieved surprising [success](http://www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com/wild-hogs-goes-hog-wild-at-box-office-jake-gyllenhaals-zodiac-disappoints/) at the box-office, [grossing](. http://www.the-numbers.com/movies/2007/WHOGS.php) $38.8 million on opening weekend and nabbing nearly $243 million worldwide in its theatrical run. Apparently moviegoers go hog wild for middle-aged, suburban, slightly homophobic biker wannabes. Hopefully, the studio will use all that money to hire better scriptwriters this time around.
