Police are seeking information regarding the identification of a man who they say robbed two banks in December. On Dec. 12 and 22, two Bank of America branches within blocks of each other on Broadway were held up by a man described as 6'1" about 190 pounds and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark black or brown jacket. At both locations, on West 97th and 88th streets, the man allegedly pulled out a silver-and-black handgun and demanded cash. The teller complied and the robber ran out of the bank. Anyone with information can call 1-800-577-TIPS.
