A 26-year-old woman was dragged to the ground May 29 when two men tried to rip the purse off her shoulder. Police said she was walking west on East 95th Street on her way to the No. 6 train at 11:45 p.m., when she passed the two men, who were leaning against a car. The duo tried to grab her purse, but she held on and fell to the ground. She was dragged a few feet before the muggers made off with the pocketbook, cops said.
