May 27, New York City Ballet, 20 Lincoln Center Plaza, 212-870-5660; 8, $20 and up. Benjamin Millepied is the appropriately named fleet-footed danseur who seems to have a foot on every stage in North America—he has recently worked with Darren Aronofsky, Mikhail Baryshnikov and the Paris Opera. Tonight, catch his latest commission, a ballet for the New York City Ballet with a team of all-star collaborators, including architect Santiago Calatrava and composer Thierry Escaich. Bottom Line: Ballet for the contemporary of spirit and those abstemious souls weary of traditional ballet fustiness.
